What are your goals for 2025? Are you taking the time to set them & think about them. Then not only set your goals but then start putting plans together to execute them as well? For me I am for sure in that growth phase still. Trying to constantly add new clients. As many wise people have said. You can have the best product in the world but if no one knows it exists it’s doesn’t matter. So marketing is always a focus of mine now. @shopmarketingpros has been doing my marketing now for 2 yrs. They knocked it out of the park on my website as well as crush it with my keywords and seo. Next is paid ads on google. I have not quite started those yet but have to pull the trigger at some point so that’s the strategy I’m putting together and I’ll sit down and talk with them about my goals and we will together come up with a plan. That’s how a great company operates when you do business with them.

Which one you going with IF you had to choose? Im not a fan at all of house brands. Have I used them? Yes but it’s extremely rare. 9/10 I am using oem or oem manufacture of the brand like Denso, Bosch, ac delco etc. For me if there is no other option. I’m typically getting Duralast gold. That being said I’ve had issues with Duralast gold starts and alternators so they aren’t great. Also I’m using @partstech if you are interested use the link in my profile. Yea that’s gonna be a no for me. There’s a lot of talk about this. If you are flat rate a lot of people say yes take it. Grind etc. while I do agree. There is a season for this. But for me now in my life I have realized that family is much more important for my and my time away from work is much more valuable. Again I dont mind grinding for a season. I did for the first 3yrs of my shop but now it’s rare for me to work much past 5 although I do start at 7am. Even more rare for me to work Saturday and Sunday. I’ve found I need the recharge time more and more now owning my own shop. What say you??
